It's important to make sure you know the exact model of your device so your buyer can issue your payment quickly after inspecting it. Simply find the brand of your phone below and follow the steps to locate your model number:
Apple iPhone
If you're selling an iPhone, you'll just need to know the Series (i.e. 4, 4S, 5, 5, 5S, 5C, 6 or 6 Plus) and Capacity (i.e. 16 GB, 32, GB, 64, 128 GB).

Android Phones (Samsung, Motorola)
- Click the Menu button and select System Settings
- Scroll down through the list toward the bottom
- Tap About Phone
- Locate your model name and number in the list
Nokia Lumia
- Go to Settings
- Tap About
- Your model name and number will be displayed in the Phone Information Section
HTC, LG and older Nokia phones
- Remove the back cover
- Remove the battery
- Your model number will be printed on the inside of the phone, usually on a white label
Nokia
Type in *#0000# on your phone's keypad. The display shows your phone's model.
BlackBerry 10
- Tap Settings
- Tap About
- The model information will be displayed
BlackBerry using BlackBerry 6 OS or OS7
- Select Options on the home screen or in the settings folder
- Select Device
- Select About Device Versions
- The model information will be displayed on the first line
BlackBerry using BlackBerry 4.0 or 5.0 Software
- Select Options
- Select About
- The model information will be displayed on the first line
